Note: Some project owners may opt to decline incentives to avoid requirements that are tied to such incentives. For example, a project owner may not want to pay prevailing wages on their project that is budgeted over $50,000 (the prevailing wage threshold). They thus forgo receiving the sales tax exemption incentive through the Peoria Urban Enterprise Zone, but will still receive the property tax abatement.
